EU, Lithuania confirm “will be resolved as soon as possible”

International Business News  –  According to a report by the Russian Satellite News Agency on the 9th, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova said that the European Union and Lithuania confirmed during their contacts with Russia that the transportation problem in the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad will be resolved in the near future.

According to the report, Zakharova also said that if the transportation problem in Kaliningrad is not solved in the near future, Moscow will take action against Lithuania and the European Union, and “has been waiting for a long time.”

Earlier, Lithuanian Railways notified Kaliningrad Railways that it would stop transit shipments of some EU-sanctioned goods from June 18. Zakharova said Lithuania’s move had “crossed the line” and was a “public provocation”.
