NCX3 Express Route Starts Operation

NCX3 operates once a week, starting from Incheon Port, and going to Vietnam via China, Thailand and other places. Four ships of 2,500 TEUs will be put into operation, which is expected to create a throughput of more than 50,000 TEUs per year. At 7:00 a.m. on the same day, the first APL CAIRO ship arrived at Incheon Xingang Terminal. The specific docking places are Incheon, Qingdao, Shanghai, Thailand Ramchabang (sound), Vietnam Ho Chi Minh, Tianjin Xingang, Dalian, Incheon. The NCX3 service is the fifth container route developed by the Port of Incheon this year. So far, there are 29 scheduled container service routes between Incheon and Thailand and Vietnam.
Kim Jong-gil, vice president of operations at the Incheon Port Corporation, said that with the increase in services to Thailand and Vietnam, the competitiveness of the port of Incheon will be strengthened, and the choice of shippers and agents in the metropolitan area will also be expanded. In order to activate existing routes and stabilize new routes, measures such as project incentives to operate and attract cargo owners will be taken to promote the development of logistics.
