Amazon forces sellers to complete German EPR registration by June 30

Amazon recently issued a notice saying that by June 30, 2022, sellers must complete registration for the German EPR, upload and verify that it passes German packaging laws, or the platform will suspend sales of all applicable products. (Note: EPR is an environmental policy that requires producers to be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the goods they launch on the marketplace, i.e., from the design of the goods to the end of their lifecycle (including waste collection and disposal), and includes three directives for German compliance – the Packaging Act, WEEE, and the Battery Act)
