As the International Day of Peace was observed around the world on September 21, the Nanjing- City of Peace International Stamp Exhibition opened at the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders.

The 29 awarding-winning designs in a stamp design competition themed at “Nanjing, a city of peace” were on display and made an encouraging, broad and diversified interpretation of peace.

Nanjing became the first international city of peace in China and the 169th in the world in 2017. In order to rally support for the world peace, the Memorial Hall cooperated with Nanjing University of the Arts and China Post Group’s Nanjing branch to organize the stamp design competition and exhibition. The competition received 342 entries and finally selected 29 winning designs for the exhibition that will run until November 20.
